Etymology: < classical Latin masturbātor (in Martial) < masturbāt- , past participial stem of masturbārī masturbate v. + -or -or suffix; compare -ator suffix. Compare French masturbateur (1760 in the passage translated in quot. 1766).
A person who masturbates, esp. habitually. Also (occasionally): a device used to aid masturbation.
