This can now be done by means of the drug mebutamate, which was discovered by Dr. F. M. Berger and his colleagues. 1967 Canad. Med. Assoc. Jrnl. 97 397/2 Mebutamate, a drug with a chemical structure analogous to that of meprobamate, possesses interesting hypnotic properties at doses which we used, 600 and 800 mg. 1972 Materials & Technol.
