1990 Plants & Gardens Autumn 53/1 Far more eye-catching were two melastomes; Osbeckia stellata var. crinita, one metre or somewhat more in height..and, secondly, the dwarf, O. capitata, a spreading bush scarcely 7¾in. (20cm) tall.
