释义 | monocarbonaten. Chemistry. Now rare. A neutral salt of carbonic acid (H2CO3) in which both hydrogen atoms are replaced by a metal. ΚΠ 1854 J. Scoffern in Orr's Circle Sci., Chem. 457 It is a true neutral, or mono-carbonate. 1876 J. Harley Royle's Man. Materia Med. (ed. 6) 152 By continued boiling it [sc. bicarbonate of soda] is further reduced to monocarbonate. 1949 Ecol. Monogr. 19 245/1 It is possible that respiration then [sc. during darkness] produced sufficient carbon dioxide to convert much or all of the monocarbonate to bicarbonate. 1986 Limnol. & Oceanogr. 31 1122 The monocarbonate complex is formed in the pH range 4–5, the bicarbonate uranyl complex between 5 and 6.
