A member of an antitrinitarian sect founded by Muggleton and Reeve; a believer in the personal inspiration of Muggleton and Reeve.The sect was founded in the mid 17th cent. and survived until the late 20th cent. Muggleton and his co-founder, John Reeve (1608–58), claimed to be the two prophetic witnesses referred to in Revelation 11:3–6, and maintained that the distinction between the three Persons of the Trinity was merely nominal, and that reason was the creation of the Devil.
