Now rare except in my nabs n. myself; (also) the person whom one has previously mentioned; (in quot. 1939¹) one's superior. Also with plural agreement. Cf. nibs n.Quot. 1790 leaves the construction unclear; it is possible that use without possessive adjective is intended.
