Of a microorganism: resembling a mycoplasma (esp. in electron microscopic appearance); spec. designating any of a group of non-culturable organisms seen in the phloem of plants and associated with symptoms such as stunting, yellows, or witches' broom formation. Of a disease: resembling a mycoplasmal disease, esp. a mycoplasmal respiratory infection; (also) caused by a mycoplasma-like organism.
