| 释义 | > as lemmasmyogen I Originally: a protein found in muscle-plasma, believed to be the soluble precursor of myosin (= myosinogen n.) (now historical). Later (more fully myogen A, myogen B, myogen I, myogen II, etc.): any of a group of soluble proteins obtained by extraction of muscle with cold water, most of which have been identified as glycolytic enzymes.
