Pathology.
Originally: = neuroblastoma n. (now rare or disused). Later: a neuronal neoplasm; spec. (more fully central neurocytoma, intraventricular neurocytoma) an intraventricular neoplasm, usually benign, typically occurring in young adults and composed of uniform small cells of glial appearance but with neuronal differentiation.
