释义 | narodnostn. Chiefly Russian History. In Russia and (formerly) the Soviet Union: a sense of belonging to a nation, national character or quality; the essential quality of the (common) people. Also as a count noun: a group of people sharing a national identity, but lacking some attribute or attributes essential to a people or nation (cf. narod n.). Also in extended use. ΚΠ 1945 J. F.
