Etymology: < post-classical Latin nasicornis (T. Moffet 1634 (compare quot. 1646); < classical Latin nāsus nose (see nase n.) + cornū horn: see corn n.2) + -ous suffix. Compare bicornous adj., tauricornous adj., and unicornous adj., also attested in Browne's Pseud. Epidemica.
Obsolete. rare.
