Origin: Formed within English, by derivation. Etymons: non- prefix, objectivity n.
Etymology: < non- prefix + objectivity n., after non-objective adj. In sense 2 after Russian bespredmetnost′ (1891 or earlier in general sense, 1922 or earlier in relation to art) < bes- (see non-objective adj.) + predmet (see non-objective adj.) + -nost′, suffix forming abstract nouns.
