A diazotype copying process in which the light-sensitive coating of the paper contains the coupling compound as well as the diazonium salt, so that the image develops on exposure to gaseous ammonia. Frequently attributive, of machinery, materials, etc., used in this process. Hence: a photocopy produced by this process.A proprietary name in the United States.
