释义 | Parinibbanan. Buddhism. The highest state of or final passage into nirvana (nirvana n. 1(a)), esp. that which a Buddha or enlightened being enters at death. Frequently with reference to the death of the historical Buddha, Siddhārtha Gautama. Cf. Parinirvana n., nibbana n.Esp. in Theravada Buddhism. ΚΠ 1848 in tr.
