Etymology: < post-classical Latin perceptibilis able to be perceived (4th cent.), able to perceive, perceptive (6th cent.) < classical Latin percept- , past participial stem of percipere perceive v. + -ibilis -ible suffix. Compare Middle French, French perceptible (1486).
