Of or relating to Philo Judaeus (c20 b.c.c50 a.d.), Hellenistic Jewish philosopher of Alexandria, or his beliefs, esp. his allegorical interpretation of the Old Testament scripture in the light of Platonic and Aristotelian philosophy.
