单词 | petri net |
释义 | Petri netn. Mathematics and Computing. A form of graph with directed edges and two kinds of node (one kind representing places and the other transitions, with each kind connected only to the other kind), which is used as a tool for modelling systems expressing both concurrency and sequential constraints.A Petri net is loaded by placing ‘tokens’ on some place nodes. When all the places connected to an immediately succeeding transition node hold at least one token, that transition removes one token from each of those (input) places and adds one to each immediately succeeding (output) place. The current state of the system modelled is described by the number and type of tokens at each place of the Petri net, and the evolution of the system is described by sequences of transition ‘firings’. ΚΠ 1968 A. W. Holt et al. Information Syst. Theory Project ii. 22 Diagram C1 is an example of a Petri net... [Note] These structures are named after their inventor, Carl Adam Petri... He called them transition nets. 1986 Managem. Sci. 32 900 Petri nets are of particular value in identifying whether there is any sequence of events which can result in deadlock. 1997 C. Tsatsoulis & P. Alexander in M. L. Maher & P. Pu Issues & Applic. Case-based Reasoning in Design xi. 270 Following retrieval of failed cases, the plan is simulated. Currently, the simulation model used is a causal network implemented using a Petri-net model. 2003 AI Mag. (Nexis) 22 Sept. 63 We find Petri nets undesirable as a formal foundation for process modeling for at least two reasons: First, there is still no standard, widely agreed-on semantics for Petri nets... Second, Petri nets do not provide any sort of axiomatic theory of processes.
