Etymology: < physio- comb. form1 + -graphical comb. form, after Swedish fysiografisk (1773 as physiografisk in the name of the Fysiografiska Sällskapet i Lund (Physiographical Society of Lund), from 1778 Kungliga Fysiografiska Sällskapet i Lund ; compare quot. 1784).
