ΚΠ 1883 Science 9 Feb. 20/2 Detmer, by experiments on germinating plants, has become convinced that the epinastic movements of plants are wholly dependent on light; and he proposes a new term, photo-epinasty, in part place of the older one. 1883 Bull.
