A silvery to steel-grey mineral that is an alloy of bismuth and tellurium, Bi4Te3, occurring as foliated masses and belonging to the trigonal crystal system.Originally identified with wehrlite, but later regarded as one component (along with hessite) of the mixture that wehrlite was found to be.
