In male humans and most other male mammals: an exocrine gland which surrounds the urethra at the neck of the bladder and contributes a thin, milky secretion to the seminal fluid; a lobe of such a gland.In early use sometimes confused with the seminal vesicles; cf. quots. 1638 and 1646.
