释义 | Prozymiten.adj. Christian Church. historical (now rare). A member of a Church in which leavened bread is consecrated in the Eucharist. Also occasionally as adj. Cf. Azymite n.At the time of the Great Schism of 1054, the Latin term was used disparagingly by adherents of the Western or Catholic Church to designate members of the Eastern or Orthodox Church.
