Of, relating to, or characteristic of Pugin's architectural style, or of his philosophy of art, design, and architecture; Gothic Revivalist.Pugin believed that the architecture of the Christian Middle Ages was superior to the architectural styles that succeeded it; he is known particularly for his work on the external detail and decorative internal fittings for the Houses of Parliament in London, designed by Sir Charles Barry.
