释义 | † put-bonen. Obsolete. rare. A bone (perhaps one of the tarsal or carpal bones) of an animal's leg. ΚΠ 1664 E. Browne in Sir T. Browne's Wks. (1836) I. 45 Mr. Osborne sent my father a calf, whereof I observed the knee joynt, and the neat articulation of the put bone, which was here very perfect. 1664 E. Browne Jrnl. 23 Jan. in Sir T. Browne's Wks. (1836) I. 48 I boyled the right forefoot of a munkey, and took out all the bones, which I keep by mee. In a putbone the unfortunate casts are outward, the fortunate inward.
