A small, light, inflatable watercraft in which a person sits with his or her legs in the water, typically used for fishing in areas of still water that are inaccessible from the bank or where larger boats are prohibited.Early belly boats consisted simply of an inflatable ring worn around the waist, and a harness serving as a seat; modern designs are often somewhat more substantial, with a seat, backrest, storage compartments, etc.
