A group of dipteran flies comprising bloodsucking parasites of mammals and birds which produce fully-developed young which immediately pupariate; insects of this group (collectively or individually).Formerly regarded as one of three divisions of the infraorder Cyclorrhapha, section Schizophora, the Pupipara are now seldom treated as a true taxonomic group.
