释义 | quinamicinen. Chemistry. Now rare. A substance produced by reaction of quinamine with an acid, originally thought to be an isomer of quinamine (see quots. 1939 and 1969). ΚΠ 1881 Jrnl. Chem. Soc. 40 925 Quinamicine, C19H24N2O2.—This body is formed in small quantities, together with quinamidine, when quinamine is heated with acids. 1939 Thorpe's Dict. Appl. Chem. (ed. 4) III. 168/2 Together with quinamidine is always formed in smaller amount another isomeride, quinamicine. 1969 Phytochem. 8 650 Kirby obtained a crude material, ‘quinamicine’, on refluxing quinamine with dilute acetic acid; however this product was later found to be impure quinamidine.
