释义 | receptionismn. Theology. The doctrine that the faithful communicant receives the true body and blood of Christ along with the (unchanged) bread and wine. ΚΠ 1868 G. F. Cobb Kiss of Peace (ed. 2) i. i. 7 ‘Is Christ, in fact, really or merely virtually received?’ According to the answer the Receptionist gives to this question, we shall either continue to call him a ‘Receptionist’, and his belief ‘Receptionism’, or else we shall call him a ‘Virtualist’, and his belief ‘Virtualism’. 1878 J.
