Etymology: < classical Latin rēmigāre remigate v. + -ble suffix. Compare post-classical Latin remigabilis (1507 or earlier). Compare earlier remigate v., remigation n., and also rowable adj.
Obsolete. rare.
Of flooded land: that may be rowed upon.
