释义 | rhodinoln. Chemistry. A fragrant liquid isolated from rose oil and other plant oils, and used in perfumery and cosmetics. In later use also: spec. one of the isomeric components of this liquid (see below).Rhodinol consists largely of two isomeric open-chain terpenoid alcohols, and is identical to citronellol except in the proportions of these isomers; the name is specifically applied to 3,7-dimethyl-7-octen-1-ol.
