The right hemisphere of the cerebrum; (esp. in early use) this considered as a distinct organ from the left hemisphere.Since the mid 1970s, scientific research on brain asymmetry has been popularly and simplistically interpreted as implying that intuition and creativity are located in the right brain, and analytical logic in the left brain, and that dominance of one hemisphere is reflected in personality type.
