Chemistry.

A yellow crystalline acidic compound which is found in common rue, buckwheat, capers, and other plants and has antioxidant activity and various physiological effects, including the reduction of blood pressure and vascular permeability.Rutin is a glycoside of the flavonoid pigment quercetin. Formula: C₂₇H₃₀O₁₆.
