释义 | sashikon. Needlework. A Japanese hand-embroidery technique consisting of a simple running stitch forming repeating geometric patterns, typically in white thread on an indigo background. Also: fabric that has been embroidered in this way.Sashiko was originally used to join layers of cloth for making clothes with reinforced durability but is now chiefly decorative in purpose.
