1. Anatomy. A tubular structure with a convoluted portion, believed to convey seed (seed n. 3) from the ​ovary to the uterus. Cf. seed bringer n. at seed n. Compounds 3. Obsolete. rare.It is unclear whether this was a structure actually observed, in which case it may have been the suspensory ligament of the uterus, or whether its description is simply adopted from that of the epididymis and ductus deferens in the male.
