1971 Jrnl. Chem. Educ. 48 731/2 More recently, the isolation of a few atoms of elements 104 and 105 has been announced by two groups of investigators. The American investigators have proposed the names rutherfordium and hahnium while the Russian scientists have proposed kurchatovium and bohrium.
