Etymology: < classical Latin accūsātrīx female accuser or prosecutor, feminine form corresponding to accūsātōr accusator n.; < accūsāt- , past participial stem of accūsāre accuse v. + -trīx -trix suffix. Compare Middle French, French accusatrice (1572).
Now rare.
