blooteredadj.

Brit. /ˈbluːtəd/, U.S. /ˈbludərd/, Scottish English /ˈblutərd/, Irish English /ˈbluːtərd/
Forms: 1800s bluitert, 1900s– blootered; Irish English (northern) 1900s– blootered, 1900s– bloothered, 1900s– bluthered; Scottish 1900s– plootered.

Scottish sense ‘to bluiter up with water, to dilute too much’ (see J. Jamieson Etymol. Dict. Sc. Lang. (1808) at cited word) may also be an influence.
