Origin: Formed within English, by derivation. Etymons: strategy n., -etic suffix.
Etymology: < strategy n. + -etic suffix. Compare French stratégétique (feminine noun) strategy (1805 or earlier). Compare strategetical adj. N.E.D. (1917) records a Greek form *στρατηγητικός, but this is apparently not attested.
Now rare.
