Etymology: < post-classical Latin superseminator (early 3rd cent. in Tertullian) < superseminat- , past participial stem of superseminare superseminate v. + classical Latin -or -or suffix. Compare earlier superseminate v. and supersemination n.
Obsolete. rare.
A person who sows something on the top of something previously sown. Chiefly figurative with allusion to the parable of the tares (Matthew 13:24, 25).
