Etymology: < tropo- comb. form + -tactic comb. form, after German tropotaktisch ( A. Kühn Die Orientierung der Tiere im Raum (1919) 9). Compare slightly earlier tropotaxis n. and tropotactically adv.

Of, relating to, or of the nature of tropotaxis; involving tropotaxis.
