1972 Da Liu T'ai Chi Ch'uan & I Ching (1974) i. 9 In meditation one learns to focus and direct energies which are usually squandered in the mundane perceptions of the five senses. In Taoist meditation these energies are directed through two main channels: Tu Mu, a channel along the spinal column..and Jen Mu, a channel which passes down the front of the body to the genital region.
