Etymology: < turn- comb. form + wrest n.2 (See also reest n.)
a. turnwrest plough n. a plough in which the mould-board may be shifted from one side to the other at the end of each furrow, so that the furrow-slice is always thrown the same way; a one-way plough. In the 18th cent. frequently called the Kentish plough.
