South African.
Any of several bulbous plants of the genus Homeria or Moræa of the family Iridaceæ, esp. Homeria breyniana or Moræa polystachya, which are native to southern Africa, bear yellow, pink, or blue flowers, and are extremely poisonous to cattle.
