释义 | Ultrasaurusn. Palaeontology. A former genus of very large dinosaurs of the late Jurassic period; (also ultrasaurus) a dinosaur of this genus; = Supersaurus n.The name Ultrasaurus was used informally by J. A. Jensen in 1979. However, the same name was published as the genus of an unrelated dinosaur in 1983, so Jensen renamed his genus Ultrasauros. The latter is itself now regarded as a junior synonym of Supersaurus.
