wevev.1

Forms: Middle English weve, Middle English wefe; past tense Middle English wefde, weft; past participle Middle English y-, i-weved, veved.
Etymology: Perhaps a dialect variant of waive v.2 ( < Old Norse veifa ); possibly representing an unrecorded Old English *wǽfan = Old Norse veifa . Compare biweve v.2 Although disappearing from literary use in Middle English, the verb appears to have survived in speech, and to be represented in modern English by weave v.2
Obsolete.
