Etymology: Imitative. Compare earlier yoick int. and yoicks int. Compare also earlier yoax int.
Fox-hunting. Now rare.
A cry used to urge on or encourage hounds. Also occasionally as n. Cf. yoick int., yoicks int. and n., yoax int.
