Excess oil on the clutch, or general wear and tear, can cause clutch slip. Check for clutch slip, denoted by increasing high revs without a corresponding increase in speed. An improved type of clutch unit incorporates a higher-rated diaphragm spring to preventclutch slip at high mileage. |
