“As a friend, Madiba was to people one-on-one the same way he was as leader to his adversaries who he put in government,” he said.

Each and every one of us has to find the Madiba within ourselves, and act on it.

And while I will always fall short of Madiba's example, he makes me want to be a better man.

Perhaps Madiba was right that he inherited, “a proud rebelliousness, a stubborn sense of fairness” from his father.
