the act of clicking on an advertisement or other link to go to another website, especially a retail site:The store gets lots of clickthroughs from social media.
Also called clickthrough rate, clickthrough percentage. a percentage obtained by dividing the number of clicks on a link, especially an advertisement, by the number of times the link was viewed: a successful ad with a clickthrough of three percent.
