noun Pathology.

a form of paresthesia that affects the hands or feet, especially in the fingers or toes, with numbness or with prickling or burning sensations, the cause of which is often uncertain but can be the result of compressed nerves: Doctors are reporting that a significant number of patients afflicted with the virus have been experiencing severe acroparesthesia.
